Finn"Having just got a new pup and never used a kennel before, we were confused how to choose a good one. We visited three without making a decision then we heard good reports about Dukes Barn, from meeting the owner, it took minutes to realise she was the person to care for our pup. Parting from him was made as easy as possible, and going to pick him up was wonderful. It will be an easy choice next time we have to leave him"

Talia & TedI can’t thank charlotte and family enough. For looking after our two cats for 3 weeks. I always felt guilty leaving them, but being kept regularly updated and sent photos and videos helped so much. They’ve come home happy, loved and healthy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dukes Barn Farm. It really is a home. From home.

TinkerWe’ve been boarding all our bull mastiff girls with Dukes Barn Farm since 2010. We travel 50 minutes to bring them, but I wouldn’t use anywhere else. Lisa and family have looked after belle with lymphoma, administering all of her meds, Tinker on complete crate rest after fracturing her tibia weeks before we went away, and Blue (who luckily had no ailments until December) The girls were boarded together, giving me complete peace of mind. Sadly, Belle and Blue are now at Rainbow Bridge and this is tinkers first time on her own. I’m safe in the knowledge that she’ll be well cared for, meaning I get to enjoy my rest. Thank you

ChesterI’ve used Dukes Barn for a number of years now. Both my current dog Chester and previous dog Coco have stayed for short term and longer term. I would not trust anyone else to care for my furry family. Lisa and Charlotte are professional, caring and always put their guests first. Coco always enjoyed her stays and now Chester gets super excited when his ‘kennel bag’ goes in the car. I recommend Dukes. Barn to any dog or cat owner who may be anxious about leaving their pets whilst on holiday or away on business. A family run business and a caring family.

MitziThis is the first time using this Cattery for my 21 year old cat, on arrival everywhere looked clean and well organised, the staff are friendly, helpful and very experienced, I had no worries about leaving her here, my cat seemed to settle in well and seemed very happy on collection, she certainly didn't want to go in her carrier to come home, staff said how well she had settled and she was very capable at managing the different height levels of the enclosure, which adds lots of interest and exercise for your cat, they did say if she struggled they would give her some steps instead of the wall mounted ones, they weren't needed but just those little details put your mind at rest when leaving them. Thank you for taking such good care of her x
Edit...my cat has stayed here for a second time over the last 10 days, this time the cattery needed to administer medication for a heart murmur, CKD and Hyperthyroidism along side feeding a Raw CKD diet, there were no issues with this and all instructions were followed and l went well, on collection it was apparent that she had been well looked after, she had eaten very well during her stay and hadn't lost weight due to her ckd, in fact she put a little bit on which is great, again she didn't want to go in her carrier to come home so that tells me she was very happy there. I can't recommend this cattery highly enough, they are amazing and very experienced. Thank you sooo much for looking after her so well. |
Dave, Max & FreddieFantastic kennels would not take my boys anywhere else, I have referred friends and family and they have said exactly the same, my boys get the best care when they stay.
Lisa, Charlotte and Alan are so friendly and you can tell that they are so passionate about the care they provide for their only animals and the guests that stay with them. |
