Cattery

Our cattery facilities are located within a double-glazed heated purpose-built building, providing a safe and warm environment whilst your cat is in our care. We offer spacious individual rooms but can also cater for multi-cat families. We provide a fun and stimulating environment to ensure their stay is as interactive as possible. Each room has an activity wall including shelves, wall mounted climbing pole, scratching tower and sleeping areas at different heights which allows space to climb, scratch, hide, play and sleep.
Our cattery facilities are all indoors. This helps maintain our biosecurity and minimizes the risk of disease.

What We Provide

We understand that every cat is different and have their own unique needs. Our services are tailored to your individual pet’s needs, and we cater for a variety of breed and dietary requirements. Your cat will be served their usual diet twice per day. We stock a large range of brands to ensure your cat’s routine is maintained. If the food is one we don’t have in stock, not a problem, we will make sure it’s here before your cat’s stay. We use Brit Pet, an eco sieve litter tray system with natural wood pellet litter.
All this is included in the price.
We are also happy to administer any medication at any time, day or night at no extra cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which vaccines are required for cats?
The initial primary vaccination course is essential to protect your pet and others. For any kittens receiving the first course of vaccinations and older cats who may be required to start the course again, there is a required two-week period after their vaccination is given before they are allowed to board with us. A yearly booster is also required by law thereafter. All vaccination records must be brought on arrival each time your pet stays with us, in order that a record can be taken.
Please ensure all worming and flea treatment is also up-to-date prior to arrival.

Is there outdoor access for cats in the cattery ?
No.
Purely to prevent any feral felines passing on any health risks to the cats in our care .
The cattery is a very sterile area.
Is the Cattery heated ?
Yes, all our cat rooms are indoors within a double glazed building. Radiators are provided along with thermal self heating bedding.
MY cat HAS to take MEDICation, IS THAT A PROBLEM?
No it’s no problem at all! we are happy to administer any medication, we have a secure area to store it and we have to record any administrative activities by law. We are also happy to administer insulin at any time of day or evening .
There are no extra charges for this.
The amount of medication left with your pet should reflect any unforeseen circumstances and therefore we would ask you provide more than the amount needed for their stay.
CAN I BRING MY cats OWN BED AND TOYS ?
Yes absolutely, and we encourage owners to do so. We believe that home comforts help the settling process and we are happy for you to bring anything you feel your pet will benefit from.
AT WHAT AGE CAN I LEAVE MY cat FOR BOARDING?
Cats can be left for boarding two weeks after their initial course of vaccinations has been completed. For most kittens this will be at the age of 14 weeks, however this may be dependant on which vaccine your vet provides so please check with them.
CAN I COME TO VIEW?
Of course! Viewings are Monday - Saturday between 10am - 12pm. We will be happy to discuss any queries and requirements you may have.
IS A TRIAL STAY BENEFICIAL FOR MY cat?
We do allow cats to have a trial stay, however we don't offer overnight trial stays. This period of time isn't long enough for your pet to adjust to our routine and feel comfortable in their new surroundings. Whether your cat has a trial stay or not, we cannot determine how they will react for the length of time you anticipate them staying with us. All pets are individual but as professionals, we will make every effort to ensure your pet feels safe and happy and that there stay is as enjoyable as possible.
Do i provide my cats food for their stay?
We stock all brands of food including wet, dry and raw. However if your cat is on a prescription diet that we are unable to provide then these should be brought along. During their stay your cat may require a higher quantity of food than they would normally receive at home. Please bear this in mind when providing weighed portions.
Please give us a call to check if we can provide your cats diet.
